I agree with you, but now knowing his background, he always had it in herself. I don't know what led her to kill his family back then, but I bet she was a victim at one point. I hope he will snap out of it and comes to terms with herself.

I wasn't surprised when he eventually snapped under Torso's "care" It just seemed like nothing of his previous personality survived. Until recent chapter, damn it!
