I don't dislike rape in stories that's meant to be dark themed or physiological, in fact I might dig stories like these, but I hate how rape is so overused and overly sugar coated in yaoi, I get that it's fiction but yeah fiction is supposed to be good, the same yaoi trope has been milked over and over like 90% of yaoi includes rape when it's supposed to normal/cute, that's just a lazy plotting it doesn't make the story interesting at all Imo even though I've read alot like these but I don't really like them I just read to pass time lol, I always dislike stories where they substitute plot by rape/sex, I know some people like this stuff but for me it's just the same boring repetitive shit.

This is it exactly! Rape to make plot, is LAZY writing. If not rape, it's blackmail. or blackmail into rape. literally 90% of yaoi is that shit. much older series, have an excuse. newer ones, they are just being lazy. you can in fact make decent plot without it.

"Have no taste" people can read what they want. Idk what you're getting triggered about. Rape to love stories aren't everhthing, but they can still be exiting and fun to read. There's no reason for anyone to be mad at someone for liking somethig or reading some kinds of stories. And what you siad a out expanding horizons, jo one reads just one type of stories. Most people just have preferences. I for example love dark psychological torture drama and hate fluffy romance whit no substance. Still i don't go complain about it everywhere. Also saying that it's just lazy writing isn't always true. Yes it's over romanticized as all hell, but those storie get their hate. Who said we all read just those lazy stories. The ones i mean in this comment are the ones that are truly fantastic but get hated oj for having rape in them. Warehouse, killing stalking, love prisim, kuroneko, easy target, okanega nai and the list goes on. Those are some fantastic stories whit awesome art and character development, but all of them get hate for having rape. Even when they end a d the characters get their happily ever after all the talk just goes to the rape. It's like after seeing that the story has rape they just forget to read the rest and don't even understand that the story goes on after it.
I'm not saying that hate on rape is really wrong, but it's just useless to keep talking about it on sites like these where people can just enjoy whatever. No one should take stories too seriously, because they aren't reality. Other vice everyone would just be mad at everything.

wow this is a year old. What exactly are you trying to state in that topic? Fictional characters in manga aren't real? Elephant in the room lol. Do you think people who do comments like the ones you're complaining about genuinely believe that those characters in MANGA are real and everything that happens is real and realistic? girl it's called opinion/criticism. those comments are repititive and so are those mangas. So what's the problem?
Let me tell you this because I'm getting really fed up with all the comments on mangas. Rape is bad, but it is NOT rape if it is in manga! If you have an issue with reading rape, then go see the dags before starting to read. Of course rape is bad in real life and it is not something you should joke about, i know that, but it isn't real in manga. It isn't actually happening in real life. It isn't that bad to like reading rapez just don't do it in real life. If a character that you liked got raped and you got angry remember that that was the authos way of making the story interesting and if you are still mad go look your self in the mirror and ask your self "Why do I care this much about a fictional character?" And then menu go for a walk. This is of course my opinion so please share yours whit me.
