Although this mangaka gets a point for not making the seme rape the uke just to get his point across, this still sucks. I know this is just a manga and I shouldn't take it too seriously especially since it's a oneshot and nothing can be expected from those but I always analyse things I read/watch/hear so it goes: I don't have that much of an experience with romance in real life but I have strong opinions about being clear about certain things while in a relationship. Pulling the " let's make my partner jealous by going on a date with another person/accepting a marriage proposal/ pretending to be too close to a friend..." card is just stupid!!! If you want to know what you mean for your partner ask them! What's with the extreme stupidity behind hurting your partner and making them feel anxious and insecure just to diminish your own insecurity.
