Yeah.. Another asshole as a seme... Like why they always become happy in the end after doing so many hateful things.. But more than Seme I hated the Uke .. Do people actually do that in real life?? I mean accepting the person even if he raped you literally.. He was your crush or not that doesn't matter really.. Well it wasn't okay for me... Love maybe important but No is a no man.. I hate when in these types of mangas uke blushes even after the rape.... Ughh.. (︶︿︶)=凸

If you keep falling for the same trap that the author laid out for you, you can't blame the authors for continuing to write stories like this. Victim blaming is so awesome and is FOR SURE going to enlighten authors about the evils of victim blaming AMIRITE? KTBN, sweetcheeks.

Bro do you even know that victim blaming isn't in this instance. If I do something stupid while pressure I am subject to criticism no matter if I'm pressured or not. If the uke walks into a toxic relationship I'm not going to be like "have fun". If I question him and hate the fact he went back it's the fault of the uke. The same did not force him to come back and everyone around him was telling him no. The uke was dumb and his actions aren't immune to critics or hatred.

Hi! I read your comment from ages ago, and probably isn't relevant to your mindset today, so my bad if it the case.

If not please, indulge me for a few minutes cause you choice of word have me a bit concern here (if you don't want to well just ignore my comment, it is just an unsolicited advice after all):

Reading you, I can't help but think you A/ never have been in a situation were someone has a definitive mind power over you (and actually that is awesome as I don't wish it to anyone) and no matter how hard you try, or are advised to, or even if you want to, you have no control of it; B/ Due to that, you completely lack of empathy (that you should have even if you haven't experienced it), over a person whose autonomy has been stripped away for literally being mind fucked (and not fucked out of their mind, though that could work too, in this case.)

Short line is: see it as a drug addiction. You know it is bad. You try to get away from it, even if you get into an healthy way of living, it is extremely hard to not relaps. In the happy chance you are actually aware you have an addiction.

Cause that is what addiction do!

And blame an addict for its addiction while failing to understand why there is an addiction, is basically as useful as dusting the desert with a hairless broom... It does jack shit.

It's also not helping the addict who might be already feeling guilty over it and struggling internally. If of course, there is even an acknowledgment of a problem. And we all know that it is the easiest box to check, am I right? (sarcasm)

There are addiction for everything: gambling, shopping, eating, drugs, sex, relationship, alcohol, book, video game, money, religion... Basically anything that is an interaction that provides you a form of pleasure with a balance of guilt and thrill that you will treat as a comfort or need, disrupt your social life and make you have unreasonable choices that will always priorities your temptation. That is why it is toxic and EXTREMELY hard to walk away even if you are given the "chances" to.

It is even harder when it is in a form of a relationship with a person, whom you know, have feeling for and top of the crop, has raped you (I know, unbelievable right? But true. That is why rapist get away with it.). You have know idea of the defense mechanism the mind develop in order to cop up with trauma and abuse. It is one of the bad side of our evolutionary ability to adapt. Humans brain is made to endure shit in order to persevere the mind construct, even it is wrong.

That is how power dynamism is created. That is why it is even allowed to exist. And why it is twice harder to overcome when you know the person intimately. Sad wicked world.

So if you look at Toru's case: He is clearly addicted to this guy whom he loves (so as a strong emotional bond with) because the pleasure he gets from him, overcome his better judgment (after all, the title is called "Desire" for a reason). It is interfering with his social life, and clearly remove him from his mind autonomy because the "want" overcome the "need". His satisfaction is stronger than his judgement, which is why from an outside point of view it seems illogical, but from an internat point of view, knowing all the brain want is being load up with endorphin and just do what ever it can to stay high on it... well you get the drift. Yes it is fucked up. It is stupid. And it is fair to critics, though the real person that should be critiqued here is Royshi (the seme). But hatred....? No man, that is uncalled for.

So I know it is fiction. No none of those boys exist so I care little about defending the protagonists as if they were real person. But usually reaction to fiction show how you internalized certain situations (it is a simulation after all) And for your sake and you social life, I hope your point of view have change since 2018, cause you are going to hurt more people than anything if that is how you view a person entrapped in a toxic relationship. As stupid as it looks to you.
