Does Anybody Like Fillers As Much As Or More Than Plot?

My otaku friends all judge me for watching Boruto, but I can't help liking it. And more than I like Boruto, I love fillers (≧∀≦) Tbh I should just stick to the slice of life genre, but after this week's episode of Boruto, I really hope we get a few fillers! Does anybody else struggle with this unpopular opinion?

This isn't the exact same thing, but I really enjoy the part where an MC is just grinding their skills or doing recon-type stuff, sometimes more than an actual climax/battle scene.
