About the latest chapter..

Before I start, lemme just say that I understand everyone's opinions about rape. It's a very sensitive thing for many. I'm just wondering about a few things.

1. Many of you accuse the seme of rape (which is understandable) but at first Kai only was thinking (black speech bubbles) he didn't wish for it. How would the seme know if Kai didn't verbally say it?

2.Later on Kai does say "No" a couple of times. But I wish for you to think about this. If the seme had pulled out mid thrust without going on. Do you really believe that Kai would be satisfied? We just got over the whole premise that Kai kept being treated like a kid. Or was Kai so enveloped in pleasure that he didn't want to "cum because it would be too much".

3. Yes, Kai was under the influence of "Alpha pheromones" but that doesn't resist his power to talk.

I just had these lingering questions in the back of my head. I'm honestly curious as to what people think about this chapter. Since this was a well known cuddley type yaoi manga. Once again I respect everyone's opinions, I'm just curious. #-.-)

a lot of (young) people don't understand the mechanics of actual sex. There are times when no means yes, as in Daato and Juda's sex. The Japanese have a thing about this, too, so you're going to see no's that mean yes a lot in yaoi. Anyone who thinks rape has anything to do with pendulum or remnant is just not mature enough to understand.

I just find it SUPER ANNOYING with the whole "No means yes" thing,,, although I have heard before that it is common in Japanese "lovemaking". It generally means No in western society so it's a pretty annoying Manga sex trope.

same!!! it annoys the hell out of me, it gives me the feeling of uneasiness while reading feels like they're being forced or something and it's hard to get yourself used to it too.

I guess everyone reads it differently, because the “no means yes” isn’t just in Japan, As someone who may be older (or not) I’ve found my self saying no, when in reality I’m just being a brat, or I’m shy and I just need a little encouragement. There’s a lot of meanings behind no in sex, and that’s why when reading yaoi you should see how the characters act during and after. If they’re scared or sad. Their no was a solid NO and they weren’t consenting, but if theyre having sex and their all “no..no...no” it’s almost certain they’re meaning hold up a second it’s intense.

In Yaoi they are usually crying and looking uncomfortable... They use the tape trope FAR too often in Yaoi.

Oh, that is easy, Luard knew he was forcing himself. As one of the scenes shows, he did that to show Kai they were not equals, plus he then
says he is sorry. And Kai was not only refusing in his mind, but using his body and face as well, he was suffering at the begining.
