    Yes, it's normal in Asian cultures. But that doesn't mean Soohwa keeping a distance from Yohan. It's more like he shows respect to Yohan as he is an employee and younger. (keep in mind they didn't date yet) (=・ω・=)
    But you are also right, if Soohwa calls Yohan by his name, that means they get closer (probably after they officially dated.)

    Ahh I was saying I was used to seeing him calling him manager! They translated him calling him "manager" (even with the occupational "님" attached.... that you use to address bosses and higher-positional coworkers) to just calling him by his actual name in this and it's very strange to me

    I get people in english speaking countries don't use it the same way and you can't really see how formal he speaks but I don't think they should have erased it :^( It makes it sound like Soohwa is more comfortable with him than he actually is
