okay I know it’s fictional but as a chronic heavy sleepwalker, I can confirm it is pretty uncommon to sleep walk with your eyes closed

Yep, i did that with my eyes open too, my bro looks annoyed when he tried to drag me back to my room, I looked at him in the eyes but not really looked at him XD
Yea it’s way more common to sleepwalk with yours eyes open and the person sleepwalking doesn’t actually see what’s going on since they’re asleep
I remember once sleepwalking into my moms room and standing against her wall while mumbling and she yelled at me and woke me up… it’s so unsettling to wake up but your eyes are already open LOL
They don’t actually register anything though since they’re asleep, even if their eyes are open… so they would be bumping into stuff if they don’t have muscle memory of the house
I’ve injured myself many times (usually fallen down the stairs or tripping over something) and I ALWAYS sleepwalk with my eyes open :^(
