Yes, it's normal in Asian cultures. But that doesn't mean Soohwa keeping a distance from Yohan. It's more like he shows respect to Yohan as he is an employee and younger. (keep in mind they didn't date yet) (=・ω・=)
But you are also right, if Soohwa calls Yohan by his name, that means they get closer (probably after they officially dated.)

I get people in english speaking countries don't use it the same way and you can't really see how formal he speaks but I don't think they should have erased it :^( It makes it sound like Soohwa is more comfortable with him than he actually is

I swear this author has a thing for the worst assholes on this planet… as others said, it’s a difficult read unless you’re into emotional, financial, and sexual abuse. Her art is lovely and the ability to pace the story is actually really good… just horrible dynamics that make it hard to like the top :/
