Personally I do feel Karino does have feelins for Azusa but he just doesnt know the proper way to show it. After knowing even the tiniest info about Karino's family, needless to say he didn't grew up in a loving family but more of a structured family. Karino has to do this or he has to achieve that because his path was already decided for him. So probably when he met Azusa that is when he sort of malfunction. He wasn't supposed to fall for Azusa but he did. I feel that whenever Karino saves Azusa it is because he gets pissed that Azusa is only supposed to belong to him but he still doesn't treat Azusa fairly because he is in great denial.
Sorry if it doesn't make sense but this is what I am getting so far ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Congratulations, you managed to get it all wrong. The whole point is, I don't like their relationship if there are no romantic feelings from Karino's end. If it does not turn out that there is LOVE behind it, the story won't work for me.
But anyway, we all know what kind of manga this is and we are reading it, you as well since you are here, so it is a bit hypocritical to point finger at someone.
I find this manga interesting to read so I just hope for more character development because at this point I'm lost on their feelings too it confuses me @w@
Thank you for your opinion :) I loved the *malfunction* part. I am willing to give Karino benefit of the doubt that he indeed likes Azuma, even if it is in some kind of his twisted way. Azusa really needs some tenderness, though he denies it. Look at how he blushes and his defense goes down when karino shows a bit of tender side. After everything that has happened, I would say it is time to see some happiness in Azusa's life.
In chapter 19 he starts the sex thing
I also think that karino likes (or loves) azusa. in the begin azusa was the king and
was a real jerk - so I think karino wanted to 'break' azusas facade(it seems he only wanted to be the king just to monopolize azusa). but azusa is more strong/ stubborn
than he thought. I think the situation is just "out of control" and nobody knows how to slow down. furthermore it feels like... dunno remember the 'strange' teacher? I wonder why the mangaka dropped this part. for me it feels like she is lack of ideas or the puplisher want a diffrent story than her. I loved the story so much from the start but meanwhle ... dunno it feels like "make more messed up shit bec. we get more money"- sorry its just my frustrated opinion.

Why are you reading this if you're not 'getting off on it' in some way? Why bash people for getting involved in a story? I personally loath 'a killing stalking' but I stopped reading and I didn't attack people for liking it...be a grown up and mind ya business.
Though I re-read it three times, I still have problems to grasp Karino's character and his emotions when it comes to Azusa. Ok, it is crystal clear that Karino is turned on by Azusa, but is that it??? At first I thought that he is quite obsessive and possesive when it comes to Azuma but then he throws Inukai at him? 0.0 What was the point of that scene?
He does save Azusa few times but he never punishes the culprits, and looks unaffected. The only time we see him show actual affection towards Azusa is when he tries to clean his injury on his cheek. Don't get me wrong, I ship these two so much, thinking that we will finally see some romantic feelins from Karino, but at the end of the day all we are getting is him insulting Azusa and calling him bitch....
So, do you think there are some romantic feelings from karino at this point or he yet needs to develop them?
