So, what happens?
Since no one made a summary yet, so here it is. It has been a long time since I read it, so I might get the details wrong.
So both guys went to same school together. They actually dated for a while, but they broke up because the seme refused to drop being a host. The seme comes from a family of hosts, so he takes pride in his job. While the uke comes from the family of police, and he also plans to become one, so naturally he does not see hosts as an honest job. Coupled with how the seme likes to give him gifts, the uke resents being treated like he is another customer.
Many years after they broke up, they meet again. Both guys still love each other, but they both believe that the other did not. The two ended up sleeping together again, except this time they see each other as sex friends instead.
In the later chapters, the uke started to see the seme in a different light, especially in regards to his job. He realized that the seme is actually a serious person, not someone who plays around. Before they reconcile however, a case happened, and the uke got shot protecting the seme. The uke survives and they get back together.
It is a pretty sweet story.
