As they both can't live without the other it seems quite natural for them to end up married. This story is mostly a really cute story until the time they get married. There are a few exceptions like when one of the demon lords slaughter a lot of people (at the same time you're introduced to Latina's mother - she works for the demon lord because that is the only way to keep Latina safe).
After they get married things take a turn though. Latina doesn't want Dale to die and leave her behind so she makes a decision. She chooses to become a demon lord - the 8th (and there should only be seven) because followers of a demon lord lives for as long as a demon lord). She doesn't know that Dale's job is to kill demon lords. Dale chooses to become her follower.

i just think the way it developed is not bad so for me it makes sense they ended marring. altough i understand why people may not like it

Man that leaves a bad taste, I mean it just doesn't seem right. It's basically: I've been raising this girl for a while but I just can't let her go out of the house guess I can only marry her now, huh? Then literally every overprotective could marry the daughter. Nah I'm gonna drop this.... I literally only wanted a nice manga which shows the fatherly love towards his daughter (╥﹏╥)

Really?? Cuz it looks very un romantic to me. The guy loves the kid to pieces like every other parent.. and while I get that the girl won't accept him as a parent as she knows who her real parents are, but she's waaaaaaaaay too young to think "oh I love him in a romantic way"
If she was a teen when she was adopted, I'd understand where the romantic feelings came from...I wouldn't like it .but still I would kinda accept it.

Unfortunately there aren't many parent child that remain as parent child manga.. And this was very very promising. They're even making this into an anime. （/TДT)/

I am not sure if they mention this in the manga its been a while, but in the novel it is clearly stated that dale is not raising her he is just her guardian, he thinks that he is her father but they never had any parent-child relationship, more over dale is gone for long time periods, so kenneth and his wife are the ones who raised her.

so i do not really it weird that they are going to be together, and in the novel they explained that latina loved dale since when she was young so yea.

when latina confesses to dale, he takes quite a time to accept and change his mindset about latina. i think about two years, correct me if i am wrong..

I see he's not raising her he's just grooming her for when they get married the she'll be perfect yo get me (for those who don't know I'm being sarcastic)
