This story lacked so much, that it confused me. I mean ok... I can possibly read between the lines to come to my own conclusions. Hal was a reporter, so was Kristy. So perhaps they were together the day she died because they were working? Or perhaps they were dating? Maybe Hal was trying to get her to marry him? But the author did not specify if they worked for the same company. Not did the author later clarify why they were together, not even a hint.
Also I'm kind of confused about this couples feelings for each other... Or did I miss the part where they tell each other "I love you"? It was a nice story to read, don't get me wrong. But it left me with unanswered questions, as well as confused. This is a love story right? So where was the I love yous? The romantic in me feels a little cheated... In the last part they seemed happy nd loving, plus I know she loved him. But did he love her, or did he stay with her because he wanted his son? Man I'm so confused...
