I guess all the others that doesn't fit into those 2 categories are just boring beings made of bones, flesh and blood ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Snips are a type of eels.
In modern versions, you have one as you said with Snakes, and also one about little girls being made of sweets, flowers and sparkles.
