Yeah. Like others have stated. Its similar but transmigration is very common in chinese novels. I really love it and enjoy it.

This is another chinese novel thats very different from feng yu jiu.

feng yu jiu : about a boy who died doing a good deed so a sorcerer gave him a rich beautiful body in ancient chinese times. Because hes a modern man hes helps advance the kindoms and improve living conditions. He seems smart so other ppl want him too.

To be or not to me: a president boss who transmigrates into a cannon fodder in a novel. Mc's original character too advantage of the drought in ml's kindgom and attacked. The riches in ml's kingdom stolen. His father murdered. Ml is captured and locked in jail.

Later ml breaks free gets help from other kindoms or whatever and kills mc's original character. Ml becomes unstoppable and peerless.

Mc read this novel and struggles to live in these settings.

I just wanted to l let you know more details. On the surface it may seem similar because of time period, location, and some aspect, but if u look at the story as a whole you can see its very different.

I can see your confusion. Its like hero journey, saves girl, happy ending. Its kinda a common story retold many different ways but pretty much the same story.

Transmigration in ancient china is kinda like that too. Very typical look, similar king/power stuggles.

I love transmigration stories. If u enjoy reading ill recommend some world hopping stories
