so...... i never finished the novel but..... they left a lot out. I saw the spoilers and Apollo dies at the end.
Dude, let's just take a moment to mourn the art first, then mourn the fact it went from 0 to 100 in how rushed and random the last few chapters felt. It was a roller coaster of confusion for me. It left out so much and cut it to the point it looked like the artists decided it was just changing the ending entirely. Looks like they lost funding, which explains the nosedive in the art department.

I liked the novel but after mc met more constellation. the chat box was so overwhelmingly annoying. I couldn't even finish.

Lee Changha was the most severely corrupted member since conflicts started arising within the team itself like lack of supplies, contaminated items, that bastard who betrayed Changha into entering the Abyss; coincidentally the Sun team had arrived at that time and got sucked in, resulting in them getting stuck. It seemed like he had no desire to live and would dive into the Flood every chance he got. He also felt guilty about implicating his team from that incident. Also, he was?became? a mysophobic cuz he hated corruption a lot so his desire for cleanliness obsession turned twisted into black sludge. It was near the lakeside where Changha encounters them, trapping MC & others into an illusion. He has hallucinatory powers and mind manipulation. After MC flexs his powers, Changha becomes his devout follower. He literally calls MC "Yohan-nim" despite being more than 100 years old.
As for the ending, both MC's supposed friend & that traitor get their comeuppance when they get stuck up in the Abyss, the former getting lost in his past glory of success being the assumed 'First' purifier with his body full of bite marks, deep hickeys along with signs of physical abuse & the latter just becomes a begging trash (would be an insult to dogs otherwise) for forgiveness and to release him from that place. Some others who had joined in the plan (the mercenary shtheads) were also sentenced the same way. They literally starve like hungry wraiths, fighting for a single piece of food, and Changha literally toys with them by showing them what they want; yet taking it away at the very last moment just as it's in their grasp. The revenge was also equally satisfying. They were literally dragged down from their pedestals, so the actual truth comes to light, how their purifier wasn't exactly noble, his extortion of money & would remove competition, keeping only the obedient ones, dragging the Association or whatever group around in exchange for purifying them or their families. Moreover, the YangYang team go all around the globe to eliminate Abyss influence, even managing to annihilate The Flood completely. Ofc, their physique transformation is irreversible, but thanks to Yohan, things really take a turn for the better, Yohan even mentions that Hynmook was dating him to his family. Yohan, with Seungryong's storage space, brings a cute back as well. Also, ML despite controlling himself quite a lot, acts very sweetly seductive which does go out of hands at times, yet he Deeply cherishes MC completely devoted, and doesn't like others' interference, especially back in the Abyss. Their hmm....vore is exceptionally cuteML still teases MC like before and the team stay strong. Many of MC's close people also get envious for him joining a capable team. Who knows whether they do marry or not.... No side stories, but nevertheless a good read.
