Lee Changha was the most severely corrupted member since conflicts started arising within the team itself like lack of supplies, contaminated items, that bastard who betrayed Changha into entering the Abyss; coincidentally the Sun team had arrived at that time and got sucked in, resulting in them getting stuck. It seemed like he had no desire to live and would dive into the Flood every chance he got. He also felt guilty about implicating his team from that incident. Also, he was?became? a mysophobic cuz he hated corruption a lot so his desire for cleanliness obsession turned twisted into black sludge. It was near the lakeside where Changha encounters them, trapping MC & others into an illusion. He has hallucinatory powers and mind manipulation. After MC flexs his powers, Changha becomes his devout follower. He literally calls MC "Yohan-nim" despite being more than 100 years old.
As for the ending, both MC's supposed friend & that traitor get their comeuppance when they get stuck up in the Abyss, the former getting lost in his past glory of success being the assumed 'First' purifier with his body full of bite marks, deep hickeys along with signs of physical abuse & the latter just becomes a begging trash (would be an insult to dogs otherwise) for forgiveness and to release him from that place. Some others who had joined in the plan (the mercenary shtheads) were also sentenced the same way. They literally starve like hungry wraiths, fighting for a single piece of food, and Changha literally toys with them by showing them what they want; yet taking it away at the very last moment just as it's in their grasp. The revenge was also equally satisfying. They were literally dragged down from their pedestals, so the actual truth comes to light, how their purifier wasn't exactly noble, his extortion of money & would remove competition, keeping only the obedient ones, dragging the Association or whatever group around in exchange for purifying them or their families. Moreover, the YangYang team go all around the globe to eliminate Abyss influence, even managing to annihilate The Flood completely. Ofc, their physique transformation is irreversible, but thanks to Yohan, things really take a turn for the better, Yohan even mentions that Hynmook was dating him to his family. Yohan, with Seungryong's storage space, brings a cute back as well. Also, ML despite controlling himself quite a lot, acts very sweetly seductive which does go out of hands at times, yet he Deeply cherishes MC completely devoted, and doesn't like others' interference, especially back in the Abyss. Their hmm....vore is exceptionally cuteML still teases MC like before and the team stay strong. Many of MC's close people also get envious for him joining a capable team. Who knows whether they do marry or not.... No side stories, but nevertheless a good read.

Dude, let's just take a moment to mourn the art first, then mourn the fact it went from 0 to 100 in how rushed and random the last few chapters felt. It was a roller coaster of confusion for me. It left out so much and cut it to the point it looked like the artists decided it was just changing the ending entirely. Looks like they lost funding, which explains the nosedive in the art department.

I liked the novel but after mc met more constellation. the chat box was so overwhelmingly annoying. I couldn't even finish.

but honestly. mc said he didn't want to be like og mc. most of thier original conflicts was because og mc didn't communicate, but mc does the exact same thing. they never talk about the big elephant in the room so theres loads of misunderstanding. its so frustrating.

Also, I thought in the og story, mc's character did accept the contract, but in the current story he declined only coz he didn't want to get killed in the future, so what's this about him not signing it because ml actually called him dirty in the past? that just threw off mc's motive, coz it means he wasn't doing it for the (avoidance of) plot, but just coz he was insulted

I'm good with the novel link, that was enough to make me pass on this work, since it kinda confirms my hunch of the author just piling up plotpoints in whichever random direction they want without making it coherent/make sense. Thank you so much for spilling, the tea is much appreciated

The other person forgot to mention that MC didn't get his past memory till after he met ml.

So mc did go to sign the contract and ml hated him from the begining. Ml was just a kid though and was lashing out because he thought mc should his body for money. (perceiving guides as prostitutes.) Mc knew ml was just a kid so he didn't take it to heart but then he got a headache and his past memories came back.

So mc decided to correct ml's path. He went to ML's dad and told him to do the paternity test himself and don't trust others. He also told ml's dad ml is really gifted so he needs a more experienced guide. So ml went from unloved to beloved son.

But when mc was leaving. Ml was really sorry But couldn't express himself. With sad eyes he said "are you leaving me" . Ml wanted to apologize and ask him to stay but mc resolutely left.

Og story ml had to go to gates at a young age because he was forced to. In this timeline, ml went against his dad and went to the gates at a young age anyway to help mc. MC was just a little kid himself and was forced to do gates. Og story MC didn't do gates because mls company wouldn't let him. With the protection of the company mc had to go.

MC had a lot of issues. Epsers trying to take advantage of him and whatever so ml would follow and protect him.

Ok I was wrong. I jumped the gun because of all the hints........ So first of the story is mc's pov. Then during his death it's ml's pov. After that when mc's regression. It's MC's pov again.

*First timeline MC's pov up till his death*
Which isn't the truth but what mc discovered so he believed was true.

1) Mc learned that ml had an omega bond but was broken. Mc didn't know who it was but was afraid to ask.
2)Ml always had an particular omega smell on him from his subordinate omega.
3) Mc and ml both were poisoned. Mc learned it was a fake poison plot. Ml pretended to give me the only antidote while ml suffered from side effects. It was a lie. Not really poisen but this plot gave me lots of perks.
A) MC's trust
B) got MC to turn on the powerful nobles
C) got MC to allow ml's military into the territory.
D) also access to the castle when ml wanted.
4) ml notted in MC to make a baby. Which MC was happy until he realized every puzzle pieces falling together.
A) poisoning was a scam for power
B) ml's background any why he wants revenge.
C) ml was never sincere because he always had an omega pheromones on him and on his bed.
D) ml gave MC a choice. Give birth and marry by co-ruling or sign over compensation and give the baby ml's name but rights to the throne. Duke was imprisoned without anyone knowing because Duke sneaked into MC's bedroom without anyone's knowledge. Duke is locked up for 12 yrs in the dungeon. Tongue cut out. Limbs tied to bars with a thorn crown. A broken ankle.


Mc can't kill Duke till imprint is broken. If Duke dies before that MC will go into pheromone shock and could die.
