It's more regarding the support you see. He doesn't hate that company or the job, work is tough everywhere, all companies will have same work load but it's the support you get from others. If others keep saying, it's bad just leave, then you get demotivated. He just wanted some support and encouragement

But that job really was bad. The supervisor were making others do thier jobs plus the supervisor's job. That was why the mc is over worked and tired all the time. The mc didnt even look that happy about his work. He was just lucky the boss found out, but for some ppl that never happens.

Someone i knew was a hard worker and her boss gave her the bosses work load on top of her own work. The boss was also doing illegal things like changing the shifts on the computer so ppl got paid less than what they actually worked. When my friend complained to the higher ups. She was kicked out not the boss.

Its good to have support but its also good listen to criticism. You dont have to row a sinking boat. There are other boats.

That true but it still wouldn’t hurt to hear a little bit of encouraging words especially from your family members. He put in a lot of time and dedication into his work and that company and for him to constantly always hear people telling him to quit or work somewhere else would really unmotivated him. And let’s not forget that it could be hard to suddenly just quit and look for a different job with the title that he had or worked hard to get. So that means he would have to start over and work his way back to his position if he couldn’t find a different job that had that position available. Which is why a lot of people just stick with what they have even if it means doing a lot of work and overtime cause they can’t afford to just give up a job that pays well.

But in his case he was lucky that the boss had found out so not everyone could be as lucky as him.

My brother in law is a computer programer. He makes six figure income.

He told me that he became successful because he quit a lot of jobs. You gain experience and some company stop at advancement and sometimes theres a cap on income. Also many companies want experience so he would go to a new company and learn new things from staff/work to build a better foundation.

Also my friend worked as a supervisor for a horrible job. She didn't work there long. She told me its so she can have supervisor on her résumé for the next job.

Everything you work for, all the experience you gain, and your position in the corporate ladder can help you get a better leverage over others when looking for a new job and better pay for your experience.

But yeah i get in pride in your work and the determination to succeed in a hard job, but in reality family and friends were right. That job was really bad. What if his health declined because of this? What if he worked so much he ended up alone for the rest of his life? What happens when life is just work and sleep?

Determination is good but sometimes you need to step back and really reevaluate your situation.

But yeah. Lucky all the issues were solved for him. I cant imagine what would happen in the future if things didnt change.higher ups become more lazy and mc gets overworked to death.

Oh yeah. My bad. I dont mean to just quit your job. I mean you can look for a new job while still working. A lot of ppl do this.
