"asshole" senpai actually is actually dealing with a lot of stuff :( his story is sadder than this manga. he looks like he's being coerced and pushed to doing sexual things.

Yeah I pretty much thought that it would be this way. I mean the asshole wasn’t meant to be negative, just more fitting to the role he played in this manga. But i can imagine him having a sad past because of the way he spoke
