The ending scenario was cute, but the main 2 folks' personalities made no sense and didn't flow with the story AT ALL. From the first 2 chapters, there is NO WAY that Kitagawa would have fallen in love with Yoshida without some longer plot points making Yoshida realize how effed up he was being and making a huge change in his attitude. On his own, I can see Yoshida falling in love first and then changing, but this story was far too short for that progress to happen to make a sensible story progression. The best made character was honestly the crappy ex-best friend. He stayed constant and at lease the explanation he gave of himself made sense in the sh*tty never-to-be-forgiven way that could give better fodder for further plot development much further down the line. This manga just didn't make sense from a story progression perspective. I don't know if the author was restricted with size right from the beginning or something, but this is just pretty artwork and bad everything else. If they were short on time, they should have created another character to be Kitagawa's saving pairing and gone down that cliche path. It wouldn't have been that interesting, but it's better than putting out work that will potentially have idiots that read it think it's hot to see someone having a panic attack get raped.. or just any rape. I legit thought this would be a psychological type trip in the beginning, which I was cool with since those are their own category that you go into knowing it isn't going to be a happy ending, but forcing a happy thing at the end in the way it went is just sh*t.
