I don't know but I have this feeling Taku wants to portray ending of Haesoo and Joowon's relationship in his art. I am not saying that he doesn't have any feelings for Haesoo. But it's clear he is fascinated by Haesoo's story about step siblings and it looks like (to me) he wants to grasp the ending of their history.
