The puzzle isn't who loves Haesoo more or who Haesoo loves. The obvious answer is Joowon.
The thing is that relationships need a lot more than love to work.
And Taku is offering whatever the heck else relationships need: care, communication, a stable looking relationship. And it'd be impossible not to start falling in love with someone like Taku, the guy seems like he fell right out of a fairytale: young with a passion, understanding etc etc.
Now even if Joowon and Haesoo comes around, and decide to talk it out, they are just too tangled up in each other. With the family, and Joowon's rep as an actor and so on.
I have no idea where this story is actually going and I would actually like the fairytale, two of us against the world kind of Joowon-Haesoo ending, but I think that's not what's going to happen.
The author has said that this is a story about sometimes having to fall out of love.
And maybe that's what it's going to be about.
This is just what I think though.
Hmmm. Am I the only one who have doubts about Taku? I get your point but there's this one instance where Haesoo is with Taku and he thought, "The rented studio was spotless with no sign that it had ever been used. It smelled unlived in, of diffusers and fabric softeners. This was a place that could easily be vacated at any time... If the upcoming exhibition goes well, I wonder whether he'll decide to stay longer... This isn't where he belongs."
Also, what is the deal with the model and Taku? Thruthfully, Taku is a mystery. I dont even know if what he has for Haesoo is love or something much less than that. I cant read his dull eyes and so I really need his POV!! I hope Im wrong though cause I really want Haesoo to have his happy ending and I dont care where he gets it from as long as he is happy and contented.
At this point, is there anyone who fully trusts Taku though? Mysterious, I can work with. But there's a suspicious vibe that he gives off. And Taku seems too much like an independent free soul to be able to give the kind of stability Haesoo wants. And there are times when I feel like this is all just a story to him, Haesoo and Joowon.
But I can't help but wonder if the author is throwing us off on purpose. Taku has parts of his personalities that contradict each other, some parts as the knight in shining armor, some parts as the evil bystander who just found something interesting and wants to watch the story unfold.
But the idea of him as the hero seems to match the theme the author has stated more, because unless Haesoo falls in love with Taku only to fall out of love again, it doesn't really fit what the author said about "falling out of love".
Of course this is all speculation. I might be 100% wrong, I even hope I am since personally, I like the idea of Joowon x Haesoo better, but I have a strong feeling that we're not going to get what I want. *sob*
At this point I think the possiblity of Haesoo falling out of love, and being by himself, healing and learning to be happier seems plausible.
I think about how the story started too, in an interview kind of story and try to gauge its significance. But the more I think about it, the more confused I get.
Chan-il is so cute omg ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
