Doumeki is still into Yashiro and vice versa.. Coz just like Yashiro said that Doumeki was the first guy that made him feel anxious in every way.. I just cant wait for d movie though
Completely. I have no doubt in my heart that Doumeki and Yashiro continue to have feelings for each other. It's thanks to Yashiro recognizing Doumeki's tenderness and sincerity for Doumeki to no longer fear being like his father and it being okay to be potent. Meanwhile, Doumeki respecting Yashiro as a person -seeing our elder's care, beauty, and selflessness- were qualities Yashiro never acknowledged in himself. I think it was the first time both parties faced mutual feelings, and they weren't sure how to handle it. Doumeki was ready to love and protect Yashiro, but Yashiro didn't want Doumeki to follow the elder forever.
Even now, Yashiro changes locations twice a year as the owner of a casino, which seems safer than living as a yakuza, but it's still not a stable job. I'm seeing that love is about circumstances, and it's not that love can prevail in every situation. We'll see what Doumeki and Yashiro will do now, and how they'll be together again :)
The animated movie should be great! I have faith in the voice actors, especially hearing them from the BLCDs in the past, so getting into character will be worthwhile on-screen too <33 I am curious about where the movie will end too.... ;c

I also heard d blcds too up to vol.5 (cant wait for d vol.6 though) and i just hope that they will also be d seiyuus in d movie.. well, keep fingers crossed! (▰˘◡˘▰)
I'm glad to see such a passionate, united response! :) When I see relationships like these, it reminds me of how unexpected life can be. Yashiro was so used to having a crush on Kageyama, and having sex for the sake of it, without ever expecting to meet someone who would genuinely love him. And we have Doumeki who just wanted to support his family, and he never dreamed of a romantic and sexual relationship for himself. I love that these two meeting each other and validating each other changed their own views of themselves, and it was made so clear that they're both worthy of being loved. <33 The mind could be so powerful in not having us seeing how beautiful we are, and I like seeing someone else's earnest beliefs, even if you don't think so about yourself.

And I hear the voice actors as the characters, like the way Shingaki breathes as we hear Yashiro smoking lets us feel what our protagonist is feeling; Doumeki's deep voice where you just FEEL his complete devotion to only Yashiro; Nanahara's confusion but his more relaxed way of speaking and his openness whenever he expresses his horniness for Yashiro... lol. Yes, I would like the voice actors to stay the same xDD

I totally agree coz u can see that Yashiro and Doumeki made a better version of themselves after having each other around. They complimented each other in a way that they themselves were not even aware that it could possibly happen, but it happened anyway. Especially for Yashiro, he made it seem that Doumeki's effect in his life is no big deal and yet in reality, it was exemplary to the point wherein he himself had no idea that such thing could exist. I love the part when Yashiro and Doumeki are in the bathroom.. Yashiro admits that he doesn't know how to deal with Doumeki.. I love that he was able to muster his courage and openly admitting it to Doumeki since he s special to Yashiro. He is willing to show his vulnerability and having it laid out in the open. He acts like a spoiled baby when Doumeki told him to undress to dry his clothes.
Doumeki on the other hand just like what you said, he totally devoted himself to his family. Got himself absorbed by working his ass off just to provide for the family. Didn't think of himself to be engaged with anyone. Completely selfless... Until he met Yashiro where he didn't know his life will take a full 360deg turn. I'm savoring every bit of d story even the antagonists coz they are part of d story as well. Nanahara made loads of ruckus along the way but that's just because he loves Yashiro in his own way as their 'Kashira'.
Everytime I see guys posting request for recommendations of bl manga with good plot, I never miss out Saezuru. I've been always saying that Saezuru is not your typical yakuza bl story. It's a total masterpiece! Like 10 count, its a must read that I consider like a precious gem. That the story has a deeper meaning to it. The chapters, every turn of the story and the BLCDs are just too damn good. Shingaki Tarusuke and Hatano Wataru as seiyuus are just the best fit for these characters. It's like I can't imagine other seiyuus to play these roles.
I'm happy that I met someone who has the same cravings for these mangas. I mean not everyone appreciates special mangas like this. Some people read just for the sake of reading it. But of course anyone is free to do what they want. =)

I was looking through the manga today while I was searching for the BLCDs (my favourite team's website closed down ;-----; and I don't have the collection saved on my laptop... Long story short, while I was engaging with the BLCDs, that happened before I got my current laptop and then their website closed), and the feels came to me. Yashiro thought Doumeki was a 'safe' person to treat casually, since Doumeki was impotent and our youngster was not on the flirtatious side of life. (Remember that time Doumeki went to the sauna based on Yashiro's recommendation, and it was AFTER Doumeki left that he realized nothing happened? LOL!! XD) Yet, I think Doumeki's personality, where he's such a good listener and he served as Yashiro's underling was what made it so easy for Yashiro to open up to Doumeki. Doumeki saw Yashiro's feelings for Kageyama. And when I was looking at Yashiro's high school days with Kageyama, Yashiro fell in love with Kageyama...the moment Kageyama said thank you. It was when Yashiro was on his way to Kageyama's home after hearing that our doctor's father passed away, and Yashiro came even though it was raining. I think if someone looks at you genuinely in the eye, and they treat you with care...it's not hard at all to fall in love. Kageyama showed care to Yashiro, like the times our doctor treated our protagonist's wounds.
Doumeki is the type of person who showers his partner with love. He takes action, and he's not the type to constantly demand his partner to reciprocate. Doumeki's someone who I think follows, "Loving you is enough." Nanahara has questioned Doumeki about loving Yashiro before, whom is not easy to pursue and is not used to being loved. Yet, Doumeki is not someone who loves another because there is a benefit to it; you're already benefiting from loving them. Love isn't always something you can easily explain to others, so even after Yashiro lied about forgetting Doumeki and Nanahara asking Doumeki how far they've gone sexually, how could anyone understand, "Boss and I made love"? I don't think that's something the characters could envision, because they're aware that sex has been a part of Yashiro's life for so long. I think Yashiro's active sex life could be his way of coping after his stepfather raped him for years. If you normalize something horrible, then it may be easier for you to live with it.
I have soft spots for Misumi and Ryuuzaki. Ryuuzaki appreciated Yashiro's beauty, and he and Yashiro have their own connection too. Ryuuzaki knows Yashiro is kind, like the time Yashiro ensured Ryuuzaki's partner's safety before he went to jail. Misumi doesn't pressure Yashiro to come back to the yakuza world, or really put too much pressure on Yashiro four years ago. Everybody just knew Misumi favoured Yashiro, and that was about it. I don't even recall a scene when Misumi blackmailed Yashiro into doing anything either.
I have respect for people like Doumeki. (Doumeki reminds me of Apollo from Shangri La no Tori (●'◡'●)ﾉ ) They listen to their heart. They're passionate about what and who they believe in, despite what others say. Yashiro mentioned that Doumeki could have his pinky finger reattached (that time Doumeki spoon-fed Yashiro), but Doumeki leaves his finger as it is. I think that could be an easy reminder of Yashiro, which Doumeki would never regret.
A passionate lover. It's nice to see. ^^ I have faith when I think of characters like Doumeki. He's an example of someone who loves you wholeheartedly, where he saw you at your worst and he would love you no matter what.
My guess is that Tsunakawa will groom Doumeki to be his heir. Doumeki has already been "promoted," he is now basically a team leader with underlings. On the other end, Doumeki is most likely trying to gain power in the yakuza world so he can find Yashiro, even though Yashiro already left that life behind. I'm guessing further that Doumeki wants to be "equal" to Yashiro, a former wakagashira, so that they can finally start over their relationship as equals, and not as boss/subordinate.
In the previous chapters, Doumeki is starting to see beyond Yashiro's facade. Yashiro has been through hell and back, but he also has a lot of pride and will not accept blind loyalty or even love borne out of sympathy. Yashiro is still probably traumatized that Doumeki nearly died so many times protecting him. It will certainly take a lot of resilience from Doumeki to assuage Yashiro's fears.
....I'm tired, and this was a quick read. So, I might have more to say about chapter 37 later... But...is anyone else's heart aching, at least a little bit, knowing that Doumeki and Yashiro separated for four years?? T____T I'm getting cold vibes, so it seems they haven't seen and talked with each other in THAT long! Yet, Doumeki still doesn't have a lover and he refuse to have casual sex, so I don't think he let the past go... Is Doumeki still being involved in the yakuza life to find Yashiro?? It seems like Doumeki's new boss doesn't know much about Yashiro's now-disbanded group, as if they just disappeared :/ Maybe that's great news, if the characters we met in the past 36 chapters are now living more normal and SAFER lives!!
It's also interesting to see how doting Niki's family is. Her grandfather didn't even want to imagine his grandchild being a yakuza leader, to the point where he gave the position to a subordinate instead of his son! That's saying something. Now, we see that Niki's father is the boss, but who will be his heir? It doesn't look like he's training his daughter to be a yakuza leader, and he wants her to live a normal -maybe sheltered- life. It's interesting to see that the females in the story aren't really doing the "hard" work.
