I kinda want that too, because I don't really feel the older brother loves him that way, even though he'll end up doing it.

Yep that part time brothers/lovers idea is a little icky to me... ok if one or other... awkward
I really wanted it too. I kinda hoped that younger brother would understand that he confused familial love with romantic love, and in the end will go out with Aihara (and that’s the reason why Aihara was introduced to the readers in the very first chapter). And the older brother would gently reject him but always stay by his side and be as understanding and loving in brotherly way as he has always been. But this would be more in style of some Korean webtoon rather than standard Japanese BL manga.
I want them to stay as brothers.
