Yaoi Otome Reincarnation

Rookwood December 11, 2019 7:51 pm

I'm looking for a yaoi story where the main male character gets reincarnated/transported to the world of an otome game. Now that I've had this idea I'm desperate to find a manga/manhwa/webtoon with those guide lines. So please help and tell me that I'm not the only one with this kind of thinking m(_ _)m

No. A yaoi story set in an otome game world. And it doesn't matter if it's a manhwa, manga, or webtoon.

That’s like asking for a yuri in an omegaverse.

All your comment seems to point out to me is a lack of imagination( ̄へ ̄)
I cannot believe that I'm really the only one that would find it entertaining to read a story where a male protagonist is transported to the world of an otome game (while still being male) where all the male capture targets are potential love interests. The comedy that could ensue! and the different angles the story could go with I.e. the MC could take the place of the normal female protagonist therefore he has to fend off all theses love struck men that he doesn't want; the MC is a side character of no real importance but becomes friends with the capture targets and is more alluring to them than the actual female protagonist; the MC is the brother of the female protagonist and doesn't overly care for any of the capture targets and tries to fend them off from his sister thus becoming someone of interest in their eyes; etc.
However, thanks to your comment it's now come to my attention that there IS no yuri in an omegaverse setting. How sad because I can just imagine a soft little female omega that is terrified of men finding safety in the arms of a powerful female alpha that can protect her from the world. Or, or! she could find comfort in her long lost female beta childhood friend that can help heal her past trama. How cute and fluffy would that be!

Not really. I’m saying, as someone who plays otome and reads the genre, that a male otome is not going to happen. Otome literally means "maiden" and is a game where the female lead is given multiple male love interests. Straight males. A gay harem isn’t gonna happen. A male waking up in a "gay otome"? Anything with MLM would be considered just a dating sim, and they are generally not a Japanese thing, made by foreigners instead. Things where males wake up in a novel and have a male love interest 100% exist, but you are going to have a lot of trouble if you’re looking for a male in an otome, especially considering this genre is generally directed towards females. The closest thing I’ve ever found is a girl waking up as a heroine in an otome and falling for the villainess. If you’re looking for a YAOI specifically, as opposed to shounen ai you will almost definitely never find anything like that.
And omg, a yuri omegaverse would be even more homophobic than a regular omegaverse. But let's not get into that argument.

What do you know. Explicit sex in an "otome" There is no god and this author doesn’t know what an otome is. XD

You are still missing my point entirely ||-.-)
You're also getting way to literal with this to the point if being tedious and just further proving my prior sentiment.
I know exactly what it is I'm asking for so I'll reiterate. . . again. A male MC transported to an otome game world in which the normally straight male capture targets are love interests for the male MC. Regardless of what the "norm" is, because let's be honest wtf is the "norm" in the world of anime and manga anyway? Or when has it ever cared what homophobic a-holes think for that matter? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    Does this count?

As for yaoi otome I've played a hella lot of em but are those dating sims?
I'm genuinely asking bc if it's like "I want to read a yuri with mlm" then it's yaoi so it's not yuri anymore so if it's otome mlm is it still otome? Kinda just need a yes or no answer thanks HSHAHS
