I dont think this chapter was meant for acquiring sympathy from readers but to show what he has done exactly and I think it was perfectly depicted by the author, how events came about, how it lead to this fuckery he is doing to the uke. The moment he chose America and himself to become *powerful and ended up stating that he trained Chanbit for this already showed signs of red flags, a total asshole. By creating this chapter we are given insight of the problematic Youngha’s thoughts and intentions this giving us in-depth understanding of his whole purpose for this story. In short the author’s intention is to show he is true scum.
