Wondering why a protagonist remain asleep during a heated battle is a legitimate question, especially it’s Tanjiro who wants to defeat Muzan the most. I also don’t like the possibility of “all pillars die so that Tanjiro can wake up and defeat Muzan alone”, either.
Probably not maybe he will join up with them sooner or later but I don’t think they are gonna kill all the pillars
