I don't think it's ordinary in Japan (most people go out with non relatives) but I don't think a lot of the population are against it. Which is funny to me, you can marry a relative (and have a higher chance of having children with genetic diseases than normal couples) but gay people can't marry. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Not comparable. Being gay and race isn't something you can choose. That's hard wired in you and can't be "fixed" no matter what. You can choose to be incestuous or not.
