I think people are thrown off bc Yoon isn’t a typical lovable seme like in most yaoi’s where they want you to grow fond of the characters so they show them lovable qualities about them. But I don’t think this story wants you to like him like most stories want you to love the characters but with him it kind of lets you have your own opinion of him. Like at first of course everybody hated him and Na-kayum still hates him too, he’s just caught in the conflict that he also deeply lusts for him and now Yoon is being nicer to him so he’s not sure how to feel about it. I think the author gave us the perspective of mostly showing Yoon’s actions towards Na-kyum so we can see how he has this inner conflict of not knowing his feelings bc I’m sure he’s still terrified of him. I don’t think anyone has any sympathy for Yoon at this point but we also gotta remember that this isn’t real and none of these things are actually happening. It’s a work of fiction purely for entertainment and it’s greatly exaggerated and not realistic. That being said, we can’t expect the story to follow realistic morals like we do. But still it’s just for funzies guysssss nobody is getting hurt
