I agree, I was really confused, although glad they seeming the value of our girl!!!!
Might be because she wasn't cowed by him?
Because she didn't apologize, and through her graceful behavior and adapting the dialogue with the other two she showed she didn't Need to apologize for anything and no one had the right to order her to either
I didn't get the part about why he found her threatening. Not sure what went on from they starting throwing wine on each other.
