Ahhh this story is too much for my fragile heart...honestly though no matter how I like the character of suu and how I find it intricate and interesting, I don't particularly favor him compared to the other characters. In my opinion everyone in in this manga is equal in terms of "shitness" (excuse my words), don't get me wrong I totally understand where they come from and the society they live in...but nor Jin, nor Suu are good people, they are just humans who try to survive however they can, butttt (don't judge me pleasseee) they actually deserve some of the pains they have to deal with. The only person who at the end was trying to be a good person was Nadan, he is the one I have more sympathy for...yeah maybe he was a bit idealistic and not as witty as Suu, but he didn't want to live Suu's life, he wanted to live a somewhat happy life far away from court. He tried hard to stay away from unnecessary trouble (opposite from Suu who was more ambitious), but still ended up entagled in Suu's schemes. Man I get Suu's view point and why he acts like that, but he really ruined Nadan's life. And really by trying so hard to outwit the bad guys, Suu ended up being just as bad as they are... Everyone judged Nadan because he didn't correspond the love of the main protagonist, but he is the one I think I feel sorry for the most.
