Exactly!!!!! Everyone keeps saying that Chanwoo could have backed away from the play, but he really did not have a choice when MD said that him backing out will mean abandonment.
What gets me is that he made his sub scared of backing out/using his safe word because he told him ‘if you don’t want to go through with this you can just leave and I won’t be your dom anymore’.. like how is this in his sub’s benefit? He only used his safe word when he couldn’t take it anymore and he is besides himself crying and apologizing for using his word even then. A good dom assures his sub that that refusing or stopping a scene has no consequences on their relationship and will not even disappoint the dom, and that safe words are for their own happiness and safety, not threaten them with abandonment..
