I see a lot of comments about people asking why Lippe is taking so much time to grow. Well I'm asking myself that too but I also think it's a good thing. Since she is believed to be a prodigy child it will be much easier for her to gain the favours of high ranking personalities and she will be more discreet about her researches being a child. I think that if she had grown up to fast in the story, her "insolence" towards people she knows that aren't good would have been taken more seriously. But since she is still a child, she is still more protected by her olders. (I'm not saying that being a teenager would change a lot the way she is protected, just that people tend to demonstrates more favoritism towards children, at least mothers with their maternal instincts.)
