At first, I couldn't stand Brauer and the mistress but the more the story goes on the more I tell myself that to him they are all gonna die very quickly and he'll just move on to something else. It help a lot ! More seriously, I appreciate the story enought to make a pass at how annoying some characters are. The mistress was the one I hated the most at the begining but now I'm kinda fine with her ? She's more like a joke on the side, she isn't that important. If she die I'm gonna laugh my butt's off, though. I kinda get the mc, I guess, like sure he is op and all but serving her grant his daughter with good education, money, freedom ( they'll let her do what she wants mostly ), stability and social protection ( if I can call it that ). It's like perfect for her and honestly I think to him listening to the mistress's demands doesn't ask him a lot of efforts at all. Plus he probably doesn't care that much if she ask him to do something bad. He seems pretty neutral morally, it really looks like he doesn't care. But for Brauer, the more it goes on the more I have trouble to put with her. I mean, first she's useless and she kinda forced him into a marriage. Again, it looks like he doesn't care but it's just ... what was the point ? He isn't interrested in her, he doesn't want to have sex either, he already have a child and i don't think he wants other children and he is gonna outlive her so ... like they're gonna be married on paper but ... nothing will come out of this, plus it's useless to the story and the characters ... so why ? It was really a stupid decision from the author.
Oh well ... I hope the story will continue once they all die. Mc is gonna live for a really long time and I want to see what will happen to him next.
