I had an online friend who's wife was hit on by a man who then was about to hit her for refusing him. He was a very peaceful man (who was actually beaten by his ex-wife without resisting) until that situation. He punched the guy who lost a few teeth and he himself broke his thumb because he placed the thumb inside his closed fist.
