Second this! Honestly felt Akihiko should have spent so much longer becoming a better man and wish they didn't make Haruki forgive him so easily. That assault scene was triggering and I don't care if Akihiko was going through shit that's no excuse to do what he did.
Also, I've been seeing people blaming Mafuyu and it's not his fault lol loss is not easy to get over the wound is still fresh. I only feel bad for Uenoyama in the sense that he might feel like Yuki's shadow. I feel for them both and right now they need supportive friends not people pressuring them.
I do think Shizu's advice to Mafuyu wasn't that bad because tbh I would like to see his purpose/passion outside a relationship sometimes I feel he was just going with the flow in the band. Hiiragi though lol I agree why are they only now wanting to finish Yuki's song and why does it have to be Uenoyama? It's like they lack consideration towards him.
Exactly, it’s like opening a wound that is about to heal or already healed, I think that Hiragi needs to also find his closure regarding Yuki through finishing the song but involving Uenoyama is insensitive towards Mafuyu and Uenoyama’s relationship..... no matter how talented Uenoyama is...... and why that song specifically.... it’s a song Yuki was writing for Mafuyu........ why that song? I don’t get it......... there has to be something more to it

First I wanna point out that Haruki is the one who deserves better, Akihiko attempted to rape him and it was kinda just brushed off?? And they’re dating now?? Idk how to feel about them...
Second, Mafuyu’s feelings about Yuki are realistic, Yuki was his first love and he feels so much regret over a small comment that changed his life forever. I don’t see him comparing Ritsu to Yuki until the recent chapter where he feels a bit left out, which again is normal. Mafuyu isn’t going to magically become better but he is trying to be happy so when people say Ritsu deserves better it irks me bc it’s like they’re ignoring that Mafuyu went through a traumatic experience, him NOT thinking about it and being completely okay would be unrealistic.
