I really wanted to like this story a lot more than I did. It was illustrated by one of my favorite artists and had believable characters dealing with believable issues (if a bit exaggerated), but the translation/text was so stilted, jerky, and plagued with omitted words and pronouns that it was hard to really sink into the story and get emotionally involved.
