Did she forget what happened? You mean that time you asked your best friend to sacrifice half of her already shortened life to bring back your big brother who previously willingly sacrificed his life so that she could live on?
#-.-)

We can talk all about what happened after with the Netherking or whatever, but typically people who sacrifice their lives for others don't expect those people to "pay" them back by sacrificing themselves as well. If I gave my life so that someone I cared about could survive the way they pay me back is to LIVE that life as fully and happily as possible, not to cut that life in half just to bring me back. I'd slap her in the face if I was big bro, and my idiot sister too while I'm at it for pushing that stupid idea. If you just throw away the life he gave you then what was the point of him sacrificing himself in the first place???

Also, yes the Netherking is/was an asshole and certainly deserves a lot of grief for what he's done to her... but imo both parties are very much at fault here. After all, just after their hearts finally connected, it was the FL who:
- Despite promising to never leave him again, immediately leaves him. And even if her reason was justified, she didn't tell him beforehand to make sure he knew why so that there'd be no misunderstandings, or even perhaps to ask for his help even. And when he catches her leaving, rather than stopping to explain, she uses force to restrain him.
- Despite promising to spend the rest of her life with him, cuts that life in half to uselessly save someone who has already willingly given his life so that she could live those years out herself. What's more she decides this without asking/telling him, he who no doubt was thrilled to spend many long years together with her, and with their child. And who knows whether he could have had an alternative solution to the dilemma if she had just asked him beforehand. And finally, even after coming back, she doesn't immediately tell him what she's done but tries to keep it a secret, only revealing that she gave away the life they would have had together right before leaping into the pyre.
It's a long way to go before the Netherking can earn her forgiveness, no doubt about that. But I wish everyone else's mistakes were acknowledged as well.
How could those two girls still be friends after what happened?
How can that big brother not be angry how she wasted his sacrifice for her?
I guess those last things might still be explored as they've only just met again now... but I'm not holding my breath. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Preach sister!!! Idk why but these Chinese authors really enjoy Shakespearean level miscommunications and tragedies. It's extremely frustrating (╬ ̄皿 ̄) And even so, despite however shitty the ML is or whatever stupid things the FL does (like falling into obvious traps or saying they won't love ML anymore) they'll still end up together like wtf?! I was reading this cause I thought it was less romance and more adventure but it's feeling more and more like a soap opera.
