The reason why people bitch about rape (which I NEVER thought I’d have to explain) is because even though it’s fictional, with so many “love” stories involving rape, it might influence a young reader’s mind to find rape acceptable and normal in love, which it is not. The sheer number of rape in these love stories is a problem because it normalizes rape.
If you really care about rape so much, how about investigating for example the Epstein case and everyone involved in it?
