Maybe I’m dumb, but...

I understand why she was disguised as a servant, but why did she have to pretend to be a guy? They didn’t know about the existence of a child, so why would the gender matter?
Also, since she is a girl she can’t inherit the title. Isn’t that the entire reason her aunt went all murdery.

If Albert gives up his right to his inheritance and she keeps her right and they get married then she and Albert will be the heads of her house, not the aunt s son. Also if she marries anyone and gives birth to a son it will also have more right to the head position than the others as long as she does not give up her right. That s why the aunt wanted her dead.( since she thinks that no one would give up their right to inherit the titel, then the easiest way is to kill them.) Even if she did not know of her status and married a commoner her child could be a threat to the aunt s grandchild/ren, since Avery is the daughter of the previous head while the aunts son is just a nephew. (=・ω・=)
This is only my oppinion, but I hope that she will give up her right and marries Albert, and of course the aunt needs a life long prison along with Benjamin, and that way everyone can be happy.ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

I think the reason for her to disguise as a guy was due to Albert's mother. Remember that she keeps on mistaking her as her son when she's having her 'episodes'.

Also, Avery (the dad) intentionally wrote in his will to let her inherit the title. So I guess that would count? Idk. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
