He's not going to save her I think he's planning to help get her a divorce thinking she probably was sold off and wouldn't wanna stay there poor dude doomed to be second lead no matter what he does tho
Helping her get a divorce is still "saving" her in his eyes. It doesn't have to be "oh, lets go kill him." It's him seeing her situation as unfortunate, and trying to take her away from said situation. That consists of saving.
And to further touch up on what I thought was simple to see. Here is a definition of "Saving Someone"
1 : to stop (someone) from dying or being killed : to rescue (someone) who is in terrible danger
Oh since you said he knows she's one of the strongest in the empire I def thought physically saving her cuz then yeah he's dumb but if he's trying to help her with the marriage situation I still think it's justifiable since his fam is stronger than hers so he can give her the political backing and all that they are friends he can at least try to do that much
Yeah I hope Astina pit some sense into is head cuz she did say she's okay and her family needs this marriage, he should have gone as 'help' not 'save'
I get wanting to save the one you love, but I get tired of men who aren't smart.
