Orabunny/oravanny thing

I think it supposed to be read as orabeoni in korean. It's has the same meaning as oppa (older brother), but in the honorable term. I often heard this term used in the korean sageuk (korean historical drama).

It's little bit irk me, everytime i read it, cause it's really become weird with oravanny ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
