I wasn't sure if Raymond knew about /everything/ Bardis had done to him, because if he did I found it hard to understand how he himself could do that to Ian. But I'm glad he found out and appreciate his reaction even more than I thought I would. Ian deserves all the love in the world please don't hurt him anymore ;_;
