Just my two cent but I think Hakuba is a bit of an air head and dense. Plus you can't really blame him for all the stuff he does. Since Hina never confessed so he never knew about his feelings. Furthermore, him asking about takaomi and hina is similar to how you ask your friend about their girlfriends.
yup plus how often does someone whos already deeply in love with their current partner realize some third party's feelings.
i legit went EHH?? also hakuba was insensitive and its not reli his fault but i cant bring myself to like characters like him
