Tbh, I can understand where's she coming from. She saw in her previous life that being liked was more advantageous than being dignified. Her getting all buddy buddy with everyone is not only because she never had friends, but also an investment - if she'll be accused if being a fake again, someone might help her escape death.
Ye I also find it very reasonable that she's trying to make up for what she didnt have in her first life. Plus, she's already an excellent lady so she doesnt need to focus on becoming more excellent, I mean her manners and studies and swordsmanship is already good. It is a very wise decision and I dont understand why the person giving spoiler is saying its a not a very good development.
well I may drop it if she continue being love obsessed moron but look at a positive view, let's be honest mc needs ally because otherwise she may got accuse for being a bad guy coz blonde bitch have a lots of bitch following her she's doing what the blonde bitch do, being kind and friendly to people, she can use that opportunity to act victim but I hope she's being smart on using that tactic, she's strong and competent in the past but if she had that personality where being kind and friendly to others but actually hiding those competent and strong personality of hers then I guess i would continue reading it BUT if she letting herself getting beaten by that blond bitch or relying to that ally she work hard for then I'm done! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Honestly, this doesn't look good. The best plot lies in chapters 1-6, after that it just dies at this point...
The raws are tough to understand, but basically Cosette is claiming to be the child of the Duke's previous wife who was chased out and claiming that the MC is not the Duke's real child, but born from an affair. Cosette summons the water spirits from prophecy (or so it appears to everyone) and the fucktard Duke's response is to turn to the child of his second wife, whom he raised since birth and saw as his daughter for her whole life and have her executed for impersonating as his daughter (which by logic is stupid: a baby whose mother died when she was a toddler, can't scheme against you, asshole).
She wakes up a few years prior to her death remembering everything. Meanwhile, the Duke wakes up as well from the scene of her being executed and suffers from flashbacks ever since. And he is actually really disturbed by them.
Which sounds interesting! A plot where the father actually has some recollection of his wrongdoings. Unfortunately, where other novels MC's focus on becoming more competent, this MC devotes herself to being liked and spends the next 15+ fucking chapters obsessing over fucking romance novels with the maids. Its like she regressed: once an incredibly smart and competent teenager, now a love-obsessed moron.
