It's just wishful thinking. Usually good stories of this type never have BL in it, where it's focused on the plot more. Hence lots of them hope it's BL even if it's not, as it's very rare for a plot driven BL to happen.
Ik but all I see in the comments is people wishing it is was rather than talking about how amazing the plot is.
Like, I get it y’all like BL but there’s plenty of other BL stories and if this WAS BL then it would’ve had the tag, and besides both of them are ENEMIES not lovers like please stop talking about BL when this is not the story for it.
