What is/are your favorite genre apart from Yaoi?
Recommend 3 mangas worth reading from that genre!

Mine is seinen, and I'd recommend:
1. 7 seeds
2. Golden Kamuy
3. Haikyuu!!

Shounen
1. Kimetsu no yaiba
2. Fullmetal Alchemist
3. Hunter x hunter
These are basic choices but they're popular for a reason!

(I would've listed Jojo but I think it's considered seinen now...)

I've heard of their anime but never tried the manga, and as for kimetsu no yaiba, I'm waiting for the new movie to come out internationally!! super hyped that's why I'm not reading ahead =3

They're pretty mainstream but for good reason. TPN is top tier
