I think it's 3/4 of the way done now. There's only the part of the Prince's reveal and Lucius courting Poliana until she agrees and becomes Empress

Poliana got engaged to another man but when she found out he was just making money out of her, she broke up with him. She was very hurt so she approached the emperor and cried. Poliana offered Lucius a drink (because she was brokenhearted) and they got drunk. As a result, they had sex. When they woke up, none of them remembered why they ended up doing IT. So Poliana as the loyal knight jumped on a conclusion that she comitted a crime (she thought she raped him). Poliana got pregnant and in the latest chapter of the novel, she's trying to hide her pregnancy to Lucius.
