Okay so I am up to date with chapter 114 and I want to say something. I do get both sides of the conversation, as I don't normally bait an eye when it comes to rape in fiction. But there are things some people seem to forget. First of all, this is not a manga you search for on nhentai for fap material, it actually has plot and quite a bit of it. It’s true you can ignore it but most people are going to read and judge it. Nor is it a 5 chapter yaoi manga where one guy rapes the other and then they live happily ever after which you just gloss over, either. It's a 114 chapter manhwa which means that people will naturally get invested in it. Most people will end up caring about certain characters, how they act or how they feel. And I am ashamed to admit how invested I got into this one. How many weeks, if not months I spent thinking about the characters, trying to predict what will happen, rereading chapters for finer details, etc. I laughed, got angry a lot and made so many good as well as bad memories while doing so. It's just disappointing to see it going in the direction that it is going. I don't think anyone wouldn't understand why others feel so frustrated about it, when you consider the fact that they care about it, despite it being fictional.

It got to a point where with every new chapter I thought there was no way it could get any worse and yet it did, every time. To those who wish Byun would get revenge... it's kind of unlikely since he called himself talentless and went as far as to say that he had nothing except her but I wish it would happen. Even if Wookyung had done his bad deeds, in the end I'd rather see him helping Byun rather than Doona. The last chapters had been so incredibly depressing and I've never seen someone being so cruel with a character before. But that’s what the author wanted to write, some things just aren’t going to be great until the end for everyone. The bottom line would be to keep the good memories of this manhwa but not lie to ourselves when it comes to the obvious rape and how morally bad are some characters. And also people are allowed to like and dislike characters as they wish too, but liking a character doesn’t make it a morally good character. I like fictional serial killers but I am never going to go around lying to myself and saying that they’re not criminals, despite the obvious body pile in the backyard, just saying. Anyway, I am going to stick with it until the end. Like someone else well said, I am way too addicted to suffering at this point.

not to knock ur point but why are u ashamed? its fiction and a webtoon. its there to entertain and engage its audience otherwise its failed at it's job. lol. imo this webtoon is kind of like a trashy soap opera that u just CANT look away from. i think its well written but everyone is so messy and the main thread of minho/doona is super toxic and dark. tbh everything outside of their dynamic isnt that bad? (like aside from that bizarro rapey shit wookyung tried to pull on minho way back in the lezhin days of this comic). like i would say its the right amount of angst and drama and sexy times for a comic about adults doing adult thigns 2 each other. it rly gets dark and problematic in the minho focused parts esp those involving doona in any way. doona while flawed always, doesnt rly treat anyone as badly as minho. she fucks up early on with haesol cause she genuinely has no clue how to handle him, he's a delicate and innocent inexperienced kid when they first meet. he's become alot more confident since then and also wins her heart after a while and we see how affectionate she can be and genuinely appreciates him. i think minho and doona just brought out the worst in each other. its sad. i do wonder sometimes if the author changed her goal for the story during the almost 2 year hiatus the comic went on becuz of the lezhin debacle. wookyung was more villainous and it seemed like minho/doona might Actually have a chance. oh well, no way to ever know lol. anyway i dont think anyone should apologize for liking a fictional story esp one that focuses alot of its page time to explicit sex scenes. i can only expect but so much sophistication from my porn lol

Ohh!! I am not actually ashamed at all. There were a lot of people sometime before that were always commenting to others that went like "it's just porn" and we shouldn't really look into the plot and stuff. It was more of a "well I am sorry I am invested, I think most people would get invested" so just "give me a break" .And also just a way of speaking. People tend to love trashy soap operas so on the contrary I wish people would be more honest. Like what if it's trashy, if it gets people invested and talking, then it's done its job, compared to a good, comfortable manga that is forgettable as hell. I saw a lot of people pretending as if they don't enjoy themselves while reading series like this, even if they get angry. But I am pretty sure they do. It has a little something to do with human nature and how much we enjoy fighting each other too. It is entertaining and addicting. I love stuff like this way more than boring shit. Wookyung is one of the best manhwa/manga and anime characters I've ever seen, I love him so much as well. And yknow I am normally a huge pervert and it takes a lot for me to get invested into series. The fact that this series got me speaks for itself. But hope this cleared out my point!
