Ouroboros

The latter chapters had me worried and was truly heartbroken for Ikou. I have more to say about the middle chapters like how they seemingly ignore prior information about the past just to blow it out of proportion in the the latter chapters. Ngl, the love interest didnt warm up to me. She's ambigious in a sense that I can't place whether she was useful or decorative. It might have been the execution of her personality. Nonetheless, I almost thought Tatsuya was being an accessory here just to highlight Ikou because he seemed isolated and 2 dimentional. However, the more his Yakuza life was highlighted and how solid (but not flat) his character is, I am actually more attracted to his personality and character. He truly balanced Ikou's impulsive and unpredictable character.

P.S. I'm glad and overly joyed that it lived up to its title instead of ruining it with an unnecessary and underexecuted romance ~ yeah, that's a spoiler. I guess?
